GQ 100 Best Things

GQ approached us to create some bespoke product review videos for their annual ‘GQ’s 100 best things’ piece.  We were briefed in to find a sleek studio, and we found a perfect location in the Lumiere studio in Southwark. The day included filming 12 different products with the employees of GQ presenting each product.

 The products ranged from the new Electric Brompton bike, a smart teapot, the new Nike Hyperadapt trainers, to orange wine. We created 4 different set ups within the studio, and the client matched which products they thought would suit each set up. To ensure we got some sleek shots, we hired some Cine Prime lenses to use with our 2 C300 mkii cameras, and a slider. 

A quick turnaround in post production followed for the first few completed edits, which were uploaded to GQ’s twitter. The remaining edits we’re delivered over a staggered timeframe for release on the GQ twitter account. Overall, we delivered 13 pieces of content, with the last being a teaser video, which was a compilation of all 12 products.
